The Creation of New Elements

Introduction

During many lessons during my education my mind has wondered from what is being taught in the lesson. This does not mean that the lessons were uninteresting , but that the attention spans of children are not very long. As my eyes drifted across the posters in the room, when in Chemistry, I would be drawn to the Periodic Table. Every so often another element would be added, with stranger and stranger names. This website will try to explain how new elements are made and give details about some of the newer elements. These elements tend to be at the bottom of the periodic table.
