The 'How Carbonyl Compounds React' section of this website, will introduce electronegavity and how dipole dipole moments cause changes in the carbonyl group to allow reactions to occur.

The 'Aldehydes' and 'Ketones' sections, will look at reactions to create carbonyl compounds, including mechanisms and possible reactions which can occur.

The 'Distinguishing Tests' segment will look at an unknown carbonyl compound and look at how to identify the different carbonyl compounds through a series of simple experiments.
