So what is it anyway?Epoxyethane is an organic compound which has many uses in the world of industrial chemistry and is also used in the synthesis of chemicals used in everyday life. Despite being very useful it is also a very dangerous chemical to deal with due to its unusual structure and low stability. Structure of Epoxyethane
This site's main purpose is to educate you on the basic details of this compound including how it is made, what precautions need to be taken during this process and why. It will also go into some detail on the uses of the chemical itself and some of the substances that can be made using it. There will be a small section describing how epoxyethane was discovered in the first place and the history of it.
