| CCP | Here i have listed a few useful resource i came across
prior to and during the building of my web site. I hope you find them of use, not only with the understanding of the topics covered on this
web site but also in other chemistry related areas.
Chemdex: An online directory of lots of chemistry related web sites. Chemguide: A useful link for a general overview of many Alevel syllabus. Good for looking over old A-level work. Chemistry at Sheffield: All past and present web sites made by students at the University of Sheffield, loads of topics are covered here in varying detail. HTML Kit: Here you can find(go to the download section then find appropriate version) a very useful, and free, HTML/XHTML editor. It has lots of helpful functions, I used it throughout the building of this site and found it to be very handy. ISIS Draw: A free piece of software for students, used for drawing reaction mechanisms, and chemical equations. Very helpful University of Sheffield: Link directly to the University of Sheffield Chemistry Department web site. Web Elements: An online periodic table. Contains accurate up-to-date information on many of the elements in the periodic table-electron configurations, common oxidation states...etc. Written by Dr Winter of the University of Sheffield. | |
